The Best Nighttime Skincare Routine I've Ever Used

I must admit, I'm a bit of a skincare slut. I have a hard time committing to products and I found myself in a cycle of screwing around and using different products every morning and night. This ruined my skin. I was constantly buying new products, but I wasn't giving them any chance to really show long term results.
In 2019, that's changing.
Yup. I've chosen to enter a long term relationship with my skincare routine.
My 2019 Skincare Philosophy:
- My routine needs to focus on maintaining the overall health of my skin.
- Cannot cause breakouts. I have enough scars.
- Needs to be simple enough to do in 5 minutes or less.
- Focused on long-term results, not instant gratification.

My Current PM Routine:
- Double cleanse (I'll share my cleansing routine in another post)
- Tone with Thayer's Witch Hazel Rose and/or Heritage Store Naturals Rose Water + Glycerin Mist
- Moisturize with Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion
- Treat breakouts with Mizon Acence Blemish Pink Out Spot
- Hydrate Lips with Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask - Berry
- Occasionally I'll use the Iunik Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum if my skin looks red, dull or is breaking out.
My 3 Week Results:
- Minimal breakouts.
If you've read any of my posts, you'd know I REALLY struggle with acne. I still have some breakouts pop up, but there's a lot less acne. This makes me so happy.
- A subtle glow.
So shocking, I never thought my skin would ever have any sort of natural dew but I'm getting there.
- Less redness and PIE looks like it's finally starting to slowly fade.

The moral of the story here is to keep your routine simple. I've never experienced such great results from skincare, especially in a short period of time (it's been 3 weeks). You really don't need to do a 10 Step Korean Skincare Routine every morning and night, keep it simple to let each product provide it's full benefits.
Wishing you happy, healthy skin,
