Hello lovely! I've decided to start a little lifestyle series called Weekend Diaries, where I'll be sharing my weekend adventures and outfits with you.

My boyfriend, E, and I both had the whole weekend off work, which is a rare occasion. We decided to make the most of our Saturday and visit one of our favourite cities, Toronto.

The weather was perfect, the past week it's been scorching hot outside but Saturday was warm and breezy. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and wear something form-fitting and my version of edgy.

I wore a basic body con dress from Forever 21, which I purchased last year. The quality of this dress reminds me of similar dresses I own from Zara, which you can find here.

Since it was a little breezy out, I paired the dress with a thrifted camo jacket, which is a piece I've had a hard time styling and this was my first time ever wearing it.

Since E and I love our summer walks, I kept the outfit more comfortable and casual with my favourite shoes at the moment - my old school vans.

Special thank you goes out to the random civilian who parked their Mercedes in the same lot as us, it provided a great background for my photos (lol).

We made our way to Bloor Street, which thanks to tons of construction and road closures took forever. It was well worth it though, once we arrived at our favourite Japanese restaurant - Sushi on Bloor.

Sushi on Bloor has won countless awards and it's well deserved. Upon sitting down, you're greeted with a cup of green tea and complimentary miso soup (which is so tasty).

E and I shared a plate of teriyaki chicken, which is a dish we get insane cravings for. The teriyaki chicken comes with a bowl of white rice and a salad and the delicious chicken is served on a bed of veggies and grilled onions.

Since E isn't much of a fish person, he ordered two servings of the sweet potato and avocado rolls. Lucky for me, E is a gentleman and let me have a couple and they were so good.

I decided on the spicy salmon rolls and the university rolls, which were both so delicious.

One of our favourite parts about Toronto is walking around and exploring different areas of the city. We grabbed drinks from Aroma cafe before we began to wander around.

I picked up my favourite drink from Aroma, the Brazillian Hazelnut Iced Latte. It's more of a blended drink rather than an iced latte, but nonetheless, if you love hazelnut it's to die for.

E and I wandered around Bloor street for about an hour, when we realized we were both so exhausted and decided to head back home. We both napped as soon as we laid down when we got home.

It was so fun to go out this weekend, especially since I go into hibernation mode during the winter and rarely leave my house.

This weekend was a little taste of what's to come this summer and I'm so excited to share my adventures with you! I hope you had an amazing weekend as well.

xoxo, T.
