Weekend Diaries: Lakeshore Nights

Hello lovely! Welcome back to another addition of my series, Weekend Diaries. This weekend, E and I had a cute little date night on the Burlington & Oakville Lakeshore.

Lakeshore is one of our favourite places to go - everything seems better there, the restaurants, the houses, the views..lakeshore is just gorgeous (especially Oakville lakeshore). If you're located near the GTA it's definitely worth taking a few trips to lakeshore because there's always something to do.

E and I began our night with a little walk through the streets until we stumbled upon Pepperwood, a restaurant with a beautiful patio. It was really humid out, so we opted to eat indoors and it was incredible.

E ordered the Chicken Marsala, which was probably one of the best chicken dishes I've ever tried. I chose the Carbonara and the sauce was so tasty my mouth is watering just thinking about it. My pasta also had grilled chicken in it and it was almost as good as E's (huge bonus). The worst is when you go out for dinner and your boyfriend orders something better than yours, but I was really happy with my choice here.

After we ate, we went for a little drive towards Oakville, something we do regularly because we just love driving around. We pulled into a side street and went for a walk by the water.

The sunset was so beautiful, I couldn't help myself from taking twenty pictures of it. I can't describe how amazing it feels to sit on the rocks with E and just watch the sunset together - it's a vibe and I love it.

I honestly live for weekends like this one, filled with pretty views, good food and even better company. So you can be sure that I'll be posting a lot more Weekend Diaries like this one, and hopefully it gives you some inspiration for a date night or a chill night with friends.
