What's In My Makeup Bag 2018

What a girl (or guy) keeps in their makeup bag says a lot about them. Lately, my makeup bag is filled with skincare products because skin first, makeup second (thanks Glossier for the new motto). The few makeup products I keep close by were selectively chosen for quick and easy application while looking natural on my face.

1. L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation - 202 Creamy Natural

At first, I literally hated this foundation. When I stopped using primers and started focusing on my skincare, I started to love the look of the Pro Glow. It looks super natural on the skin, it's not overly dewy unless I apply a thick oil to my face beforehand (which I kind of love the look of).

2. Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer - Vanilla

My dark circles are so bad, I need layers of concealer so I don't look dead.

3. Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder - 10 Fair Light

I actually like this powder more than the Laura Mercier one. It doesn't leave my undereyes looking dry or cakey, it sets everything in place but still lets some natural glow (aka oils) come through throughout the day.

4. L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

This is my holy grail, volume and length in thirty seconds or less - what more could you ask for?

5. Mac Mineralize Skinfinish - Soft and Gentle

My first ever highlighter purchase, ugh I love this so much. It makes my pale skin look luminous and healthy without being overly glittery. Love love love.
